DAY 1, SARAJEVO AIRPORT – SARAJEVO
Arrival to Sarajevo airport and transfer to Sarajevo, nick-named as “Jerusalem of Europe”, for lunch. After lunch sightseeing tour of this marvellous city. Visit Bascarsija old town of Sarajevo with cobbled streets, Mosque and numerous oriental shops, Latin Bridge where assignation of Franz Ferdinand took place, Morica Han, the only preserved style inn in Sarajevo and much more. Visit Tunnel of Hope which was the major “blood line” for heavily Sieged and destroyed city, Sniper Alley and Jewish Cemetery.
In the evening dinner at typical local restaurant with traditional Bosnian music. Overnight in Sarajevo.
DAY 2, SARAJEVO – MEDJUGORJE – MOSTAR
In the morning departure to Mostar and after arrival sightseeing tour of city with fascinating history, beautiful architecture and natural setting in a valley on Neretva river banks. Visit Old bridge (UNESCO World heritage), Bey’s Mosque, Oriental bazaar and Turkish house.
After lunch proceed towards Medjugorje for sightseeing.
Return to Mostar for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3, MOSTAR – KOTOR – BUDVA – PODGORICA
Morning departure towards Montenegro. Drive through Croatia to Montenegro and arrive to Kotor.
After lunch visit of Kotor, the old Mediterranean port, surrounded by an impressive city wall built by Republic of Venice and the Venetian influence remains dominant among the architectural influences.
Departure towards Budva. The Old Town is a place of important historic and religious monuments, galleries, boutiques and cafes.
Proceed towards Podgorica, capital of Montenegro for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4, PODGORICA – TIRANA – OHRID
Morning departure towards Albania. Stop at Skadar Lake, the last habitat of pelicans and the largest bird reservation in Europe.
Departure towards Tirana, capital of Albania. After lunch sightseeing of Tirana and visit the most important attractions like Skanderbeg Square, Skanderbeg Statue, Et’hem Bey Mosque,Clock Tower.
Continue towards Ohrid, charming city on Ohrid lake shore. Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.
DAY 5, OHRID
Ohrid city is rich in picturesque houses and monuments, and tourism is predominant. Visit Samuel fortress and church of St. Sofia, one of the most important monuments of Macedonia.
After lunch take a boat trip at Ohrid Lake to St. Naum Monastery.
In the evening dinner at local restaurant with traditional Macedonian music. Overnight in Ohrid.
DAY 6, OHRID – SKOPJE
Departure towards the capital of the Republic of Macedonia, Skopje. Take a walk along the beautiful quay of the Macedonian river “Vardar”, stroll the narrow streets in the Old Bazaar which is the biggest bazaar preserved in the Balkans today. Visit also the Islamic monuments Sultan Murat’s-Hjunkar Mosque, the Daut Pasha’s bath, and feel the treasures of Skopje.
Lunch, dinner and overnight in Skopje.
DAY 7, SKOPJE – NIS – BELGRADE
Proceed towards Serbia and after lunch start with city Nis sightseeing.
Continue to Serbian capital city Belgrade. Dinner and overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 8, BELGRADE
After breakfast start with Belgrade sightseeing. Visit biggest Orthodox Church in the world and enjoy some shopping at Belgrade’s main shopping street, Knez Mihajlova. Visit Kalemegdan Fortress, Knez Mihailova Street, St. Sava Temple, Skadarlija-Bohemian Quarter.
After lunch free time at leisure.
In the evening dinner at local restaurant with traditional Serbian music and overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 9, BELGRADE – FRUSKA GORA MONASTERIES – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE
After breakfast continue to Fruska Gora for sightseeing. Lunch in local restaurant and in the afternoon continue to Novi Sad – the capitol of the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina. We will have some time to walk the city center and visit the most important symbol of Novi Sad – Petrovaradin Fortress.
Return to Belgrade for dinner and overnight.
DAY 10, BELGRADE – BELGRADE AIRPORT
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
